Norwood has spruced up main street with fresh flowers and bright colors for the summer. And the calendar is filling up with great reasons to stroll and enjoy.
June 27: Star Spangled Saturday. Parade on main street at 11AM with a BBQ at the Fairgrounds afterward, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Volunteer Fire Department (donations welcome).
July 10: HomeRun Derby at the Fairgrounds ball fields. 6pm, $10 registration, prizes!
July 11: Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament at the Fairgrounds ball fields. 8am start.
July 16, 17, and 18: San Miguel Basin CARNIVAL, 11am - 10pm daily.

July 24 & 25: RODEO at the Fairgrounds. 6pm - 9:30pm
Aug. 21: Talent Show, sponsored by A.C.E. of Norwood, at the Livery, 6pm
Aug. 22 & 23: "Art in the Garden" at the Community Gardens, east end of Summit Street.
Sept. 26: 79th Annual Pioneer Day, a tradition of the Norwood Study Club & Wright's Mesa Historical Society, with the addition of an antique and collectible Car Show sponsored by Lone Cone Legacy Trust.
